Behind the scenes
This section offers a closer look at my background, skills and the way I approach my work. If you would like to get in touch or have any questions, feel free to visit the contact page.
I work primarily with JavaScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, Express.js and MongoDB, alongside HTML5, CSS3, SASS and Tailwind CSS. In my day-to-day work, I also build standard and custom Lightning Web Components (LWC) with SLDS in the Salesforce ecosystem. I enjoy working with modern frontend technologies, maintainable component structures and solutions that balance usability, performance and clean implementation.
Since 2025, I have been working as a frontend developer at a digital agency, contributing to B2B projects across different technologies and systems. Before moving into web development, I worked for many years as a technical laboratory assistant in microbiology. This background shaped the way I work today: structured, precise and solution-oriented. To transition into tech, I completed formal training in web and software development at DCI, where I also took on additional responsibility as class representative and tutor. Teaching others during that time strengthened not only my technical understanding, but also my ability to communicate complex topics in a clear and practical way.
In my current role, I work as part of an agile development team on complex B2B web applications. Our work is structured around iterative development cycles, where requirements are gathered, refined and translated into technical tasks. I actively contribute throughout the process – from analyzing business requirements and breaking them down into implementable tasks, to estimating and delivering solutions. Close collaboration within the team, along with a shared focus on quality, maintainability and clean implementation, is a key part of how I work.
I am a determined and self-driven person who enjoys building things with care and purpose. I approach challenges in a structured way, stay calm under pressure and keep a strong focus on finding practical solutions. I value reliability, clear communication and steady progress. Whether I work independently or as part of a team, I aim to contribute with commitment, consistency and a genuine interest in improving both the product and the process behind it.
People often describe me as reliable, attentive and easy to work with. I value respectful collaboration, clear communication and a thoughtful approach to working with others. I also appreciate a good sense of humor, especially when it comes with a bit of wit.
German is my native language, and I use English at a solid B2 level in both professional and technical contexts.
Outside of development, music plays a big role in my life. I enjoy playing guitar, bass and drums, and I recently started learning the piano. I am also interested in film, series and documentaries, especially when they are imaginative, atmospheric or thought-provoking. Another important part of my life is traveling. Discovering new places, cultures and perspectives gives me energy and inspiration far beyond everyday routines.
I love Halloween so much that I chose it as my wedding day. To make it happen, I even got married in a different German state, because October 31 is a public holiday in Saxony and the local registry office was closed.
